Christmas Tree Festival

 

 

Advent Taize

Join us for a Taize service at St Mary’s Church. The service starts at 17.00 and tea, cake and mulled wine will be served from 16.00. There will be a short song practice before the start of the service. If you would like to play an instrument and are familiar with the Taize repertoire please do get in contact.

Advent Cheese & Wine

We have a speaker each Monday evening at 7.30pm during Advent to share with us on the theme of ‘God With Us’. We will also enjoy cheese and wine together.

There are sign-up sheets for each Monday at the back of church and there will be an opportunity to give a donation towards the cost of the event each evening.

We offer tea and cakes and a huge welcome. Whether you want to sit and chat or get involved in a game such as Scrabble, Bingo, skittles or cards, Cameo is a place to come and meet new friends.

This year we are going to try something new!  Collect an empty box from the back of church  Sunday 25th November/2nd December (from Arthur or Daniella) keep your box in your kitchen and each day of Advent add an item to the box! Return the box to church on Christmas Eve and we will donate the contents to the Food hub.  Let’s see how many boxes we can fill this year.
